Request an Appearance

IASAR is a volunteer organization and does not accept payments or fees for appearances and flights. If you would like to make a contribution, in kind, please visit our Donations webpage. Our supporters consist of volunteers, most of whom hold full-time jobs outside of IASAR activities. Our ability to satisfy an event request depends on a number of factors including volunteer availability, location and time of the event, the significance of the event and weather. All appearance requests submitted will be considered.

Events which directly or indirectly benefit the community and/or charity organizations generally receive a better chance of an IASAR appearance than private functions (e.g., birthday parties, weddings, corporate events). Incoming requests are evaluated carefully to ensure that IASAR appears at events organized to educate and affect a large audience and will benefit the organization.

Due to the volume of inquires; appearance requests must be submitted three (3) weeks in advance of the event and appearances are subject to availability. Due to the limited time available from our volunteers and staff, appearances made outside the Indianapolis Metropolitan area are more difficult to schedule.  If making a donation to IASAR, a partial donation will be helpful to secure your event date. 

Supporters and event organizers are advised that volunteer shortages, mechanical issues, unforeseen weather and emergency situations can cause the cancellation of a confirmed appearance. If it is necessary for IASAR to cancel their appearance at your event, your donation will be returned.
